1. How can I pay for the car rental?

We accept cash in any currencies or credit card. Payment by credit card cost an extra of 3% for bank charges.

2. When do I pay for the car rental?

As we are the Best Car Rental Mauritius company we do not charge anything when you book a car with us. The payment is effectuated on delivery of the car.

3. Will an excess amount be blocked on credit card?

There is no excess blocked from your credit card. You only pay the car rental amount on delivery of the car.

4. Do I need to make deposit for the rented car ?

No deposit is required. However the hirer is liable to pay the applicable INSURANCE EXCESS in case of an accident where the hirer is at-fault, or the Third party is unknown.

5. How do I avoid taking the risk to pay Excess on Insurance in case of an accident where I am at fault.

We have an excess protection option available for $15 per day which is the full coverage. In this option, the hirer does not have to pay anything even if the hirer is at fault.

6. What does the insurance cover in the mentioned price on the website

All our cars have a fully comprehensive insurance. The hirer is liable to pay the applicable INSURANCE EXCESS of Rs20000 in case of an accident where the hirer is at-fault, or the Third party is unknown.

We also provide a premium insurance where excess amount is partially or fully covered. This option is available as excess waiver while booking the car.

7. What does the excess protection covers ?

The excess protection is the full coverage. With this option the hirer does not have to pay anything in case of any damage or an accident.

8. What are the fees or panalties for booking cancellation ?

We do not charge you anything for booking a car. As such nothing will be charge in case of cancellation on a booking. It is free of charge.

9. What happen if there is a breakdown with the rented car ?

While our fleet consists of relatively recent and well kept vehicles, it’s impossible to entirely rule out the potential for mechanical issues.
However, rest assured that we are well-equipped to handle such situations, and we will promptly offer the required support.
We provide 24 hours assistance. If it is a minor break down, we will repair the car on spot within 15 mins. Otherwise if it is a major issue, a new car will be provided.

10. What is the minimum days to rent a car ?

You can rent a car for a minimum of 3 days.

11. What is the cost of delivery and pickup or car ?

Delivery is free of charge in the north of the island around Grand Bay where our office is based. An additional fees will be charge to deliver car depending where you are based of.

12. Do I need an internaltional driving license to drive in Mauritius ?

You are permitted to drive a vehicle using the official driving license issued by your country’s governing body. An international license is not required.

13. What is the cost for second driver ?

Second driver is free of charge.

14. What are the procedured if I have an accident ?

You have to call us on +230 57573875 which is available on a 24 hour basis and you will be guided. We will also come to assist you where you had the accident.
